Along the New Westminster Quay Boardwalk

Industry Tour by Fraser Surrey Docks (sold out!)

Time: 10:00 am, 12:00 pm & 2:00 pm

The first-ever Fraser River Industry Tour by Fraser Surrey Docks that includes a boat ride and a 45-minute visit to Fraser Surrey Docks, where visitors can meet staff and see the dock operations up close. Unfortunately, all spaces were filled soon after the tour information was posted online.

Exhibitor Expo

Time: 11:00 am to 5:00 pm

Our Exhibitor Expo will introduce you to organizations dedicated to community and the environment, all with an interactive display that your whole family will love. New West Craft Artisan Market

We have partnered up with New West Craft for this years RiverFest Artisan Market, with a special emphasis on the River, its communities and its peoples. Click here to see which artisans will be attending.

Feast on the Fraser

Time: 11:00 am to 5:00 pm

RiverFest is participating in Tourism New Westminster’s Feast on the Fraser event and providing more dining options than in past years. In addition to the restaurants inside the River Market, festival-goers will be able to dine at well-known food trucks like The Original Hurricane Potato and a non-profit charity barbecue.

Bobs & LoLo

Time: 12:00 pm & 2:30 pm
Where: Riverside Stage

Join four-time Juno nominated musical duo Bobs and LoLo for two complimentary concerts at 12 (noon) and 2:30! Combining their love for nature, passion for education and various performing arts talents, Bobs and LoLo are sure to get you smiling, dancing and singing all afternoon.

Lucille Johnstone Work Boat Parade by Ledcor

Time: 1:00 pm
Where: On the Mighty Fraser

Join us at 1 p.m. for the Lucille Johnstone Workboat Parade presented by Ledcor, one of RiverFest’s most famous attractions! Named after the River Queen herself, watch the LJ Workboat Parade’s “tuggies” zip across the water in style with tricks and turns you won’t believe are possible!

Family Fun Zone

Time: 11:00 am to 5:00 pm
Where: Inside the FRDC

The Fraser River Discovery Centre has lots of fun and exciting activities and craft for this years RiverFest including: the launch of our new working river exhibit, Journey Through the Working River, scavenger hunts, face painting, henna tattoos,magician, balloon animals, build-and-fly your own airplane, prizes and so much more...

Vancouver Puppet Theatre

Time: 11:15am and 3:00 pm
Where: FRDC's Canyon Theatre

The FRDC is proud to present two puppet shows by the Vancouver Puppet Theatre as part of RiverFest’s Family Fun Zone. Come watch a story so good, you’ll want to tell all your school mates about it on Monday! Taking place in our Canyon Theatre, you won’t want to miss it!

Pan for Gold with Yukon Dan

Where: FRDC's Meeting Room

A familiar face at the FRDC, Yukon Dan is back again this year to share all his knowledge about gold panning. As well as a panning station Dan will have a display of different pans used all over the world. Visitors will be shown the most effective techniques and can test their skills to pan for real gold!

Cajon Drumming with Rhythm Resource

Where: FRDC's Outside Patio

You can provide some of the musical entertainment for this year’s festival! Visitors can join the Rhythm Resource drum circle outside the centre. You will be taught some new skills and unleash your creativity!

Selfie Station by Stage New West

Where: FRDC's Upstairs Gallery

At this year’s RiverFest you can get your selfies taken by a professional! You will be given props and pointers to ensure the most Instagram-worthy photos in town! The selfie station can be found in the upstairs gallery in front of an illustrated backdrop of the River.
