Changes in store at the
FRDCThe Fraser River
Discovery Centre will be growing in the coming year. The existing Preview Centre
opened in 2001 with 5,000 sq. ft. This year, we will get to fulfill our dream of
expanding the Centre as we renovate our existing building to just over 17,000
sq. ft.
Construction of the expansion will
commence in October 2007 with planned completion for the summer of 2008.
What does this mean for our school
programs?
Our physical space will be increasing
which will allow us to offer even more programs to the public. Plus, with
permanent displays, a state of the art theatre and an expanded gift shop, we
will be able to create an enhanced and unique experience for you.
We are very pleased about the year ahead
and we look forward to sharing our exciting news as it develops. If you would

Our physical space will not be available
this year for a traditional field trip. However, we are hitting the road, and
coming to your classroom for 2007-2008 school year. Some of our programs are
being put on hold but we will bring them back when the new facility is complete.
